Answer:

She started the first formal nursing school.

Explanation:

Florence Nightingale is considered the founder of modern nursing. Her family considered nursing inappropriate for a good-looking lady, so she began her studies after age 31 on a training course in Germany. In England, Florence opened the first training course in 1860 and was considered the first formal school of nursing.

Florence did not know the concept of contact by microorganisms, as it had not yet been discovered, but she already believed in meticulous care about the cleanliness of the environment and personnel, fresh air and good lighting, adequate heat, good nutrition and rest, with maintaining patient vigor for healing.

Do antibodies respond to inflammation? Please only respond if you know the answer Thank you!
Monica [59]

Answer:

The immune response is how your body recognizes and defends itself against bacteria, viruses, and substances that appear foreign and harmful.

Information

The immune system protects the body from possibly harmful substances by recognizing and responding to antigens. Antigens are substances (usually proteins) on the surface of cells, viruses, fungi, or bacteria. Nonliving substances such as toxins, chemicals, drugs, and foreign particles (such as a splinter) can also be antigens. The immune system recognizes and destroys, or tries to destroy, substances that contain antigens.

Your body's cells have proteins that are antigens. These include a group of antigens called HLA antigens. Your immune system learns to see these antigens as normal and usually does not react against them.
