You also need to look at the variability of the machines. Less variation is more desirable to be purchased since it would not be expected to have many errors in cutting. The distinction of a certain output from other may affect the quality of your product therefore the less variations there is, the more desirable the machine would be.

svet-max [94.6K]

Answer:

D. 9.0%

Explanation:

Provided return on equity = 15% = K_e

Earnings per share = $6.00

Dividend = 40% = $6 \times 0.4 = $2.40

Internal Growth Rate = Cost of equity \times (1 - Dividend payout ratio)

Putting values in above we have

Internal growth rate = 15% \times (1 - 40%)

= 15% \times 60%

= 9%

Therefore, correct option is

D. 9.0%

The Akron Slugger Company produces various types of wooden baseball bats. It has calculated the average cost per unit of a produ
timama [110]

Answer:

The variable cost per bat is $10.15

Explanation:

The total cost can be calculated by multiplying the average cost per unit by the number of units. At the production level of 8000 units at $13 per unit, the total cost will be,

Total cost = 13 * 8000 = $104000

The total cost is made up of both fixed and variable costs.

Total variable costs = Total costs - total fixed costs

Total variable costs = 104000 - 22800 = $81200

The variable cost per unit  =  81200 / 8000  =  $10.15 per unit
