Cynthia is active in the school band and student government, and she has a good group of friends. She typically does well in her

classes, but she is struggling with her biology class. She goes in to talk to her teacher, and he offers her some makeup work, but Cynthia has doubts. Explanation:

Cynthia's back story does not provide any evidence to support that she has too many friends or that she is in too many activities.  It explains that she does well in all of her other classes besides Biology, so it is safe to say her lack of confidence is not caused by low intelligence.  

So finally, with all of the above in mind, I am lead to the answer being Low Self-esteem.  She does not think she is smart enough to pass her course because she is not confident in herself.

<span>Yes individuals are empowered with regard to human rights especially with child abuse. There are different agencies that help children who have been abused / have been violated by their rights. However understanding the human rights as to when the human rights are being violated still needs to be taught to everyone in detail. There are still other parts not just within the country by even outside are still experiencing this abuse and lack of knowledge is hindering them from exercising such rights.</span>
