If we use electric car instead of cars which run on fossil fuels,we can reduce use of fossil fuels.Hence, this car technology can be employed to conserve the fossil fuel reserves. Hybrid car technology uses two or more distinct power sources to move the vehicle.

Use of biofuels such as ethanol or biodiesel could also play an important role in saving fossil fuels. Ethanol is is the most common biofuel worldwide. It can be mixed with gasoline to any percentage and used in existing petrol engines as a replacement of gasoline. Biodiesel is beneficial because it can be used in existing vehicles with little or no adaptation.

Solar panels can be used in  homes instead of electricity which is generated using fossil fuels.

Using mass transportation like train, bus, metro instead of personal car could reduce the use of fossil fuel.

Using alternate energy sources like solar power, tidal power ,wave energy, wind energy, hydro thermal energy ,geothermal and nuclear energy could definitely reduce the use of fossil fuels.

Why was england's progress toward democracy more gradual and less violent than the upheaval that characterized france's path in
Ket [755]

England´s path to democracy was marked by Cromwell´s failed efforts to abolish the Monarchy but that, instead, instituted the Commonwealth. This, coupled with the scientific and later the empirical ideas and philosophies that arouse in what is now known as Great Britain, molded the political landscape of England around the figure of the King and the Parliament, in a pragmatic synthesis that took centuries to develop in relative peace. France, unlike England, went through a successful bourgeois revolution that abruptly eliminated the figure of the King altogether and instituted by force and terror, but also, by need, the rule of the people devoid of any transcendental figure like a King —and there lies the importance of the rationalist philosophies, very much unlike England´s empirical and pragmatic tradition, that centered around France with figures such as Descartes and later the Encyclopedists.
