To find the he dividend per share of stock,we can divide the dividends by the total amount of
share:

120000÷40000
=$3

If Tim Worker owns 45 shares of stock, his share of the declared dividends would be:

3×45
=$135

Hope it helps!

HELP............Graph. y+1=1/3(x−3) (it has to have 2 points)
natta225 [31]
The intercept method of graphing is quick and easy.

Find the x-intercept by setting y = 0 and solving for x:

y+1=1/3(x−3)   =>   0<span>+1=1/3(x−3)
  Multiply both sides by 3:  3 = x - 3.  Then x = 6, and the x-int. is (6, 0).

Find the y-int by setting x = 0 and solving for y:

</span><span>y+1=1/3(0−3)
Mult both sides by 3:  3y+3 = -3, so that 3y = -6, and y = -2.
Then the y-intercept is (0,-2).

Plot these 2 points.  Then draw a line thru them.</span>

Can someone please take the time out of their day and help me with this question
ruslelena [56]

Answer:

76, 76 104

Step-by-step explanation:

Angle 3 is vertical so it is congruent to Angle 2.

Angle 6 is corresponding, so it is congruent to Angle 2.

Angle 8 is linear to Angle 6, so they add to 180

Question 3 (Essay Worth 10 points)
lakkis [162]
PART A

To form the equation to represent total rent, we first need to establish the changing rate and the fixed cost. Changing rate is the fee for every one day the car is rented and fixed cost is the initial cost of the car rental.

To find the changing rate we divide the cost difference between two days by the difference of days

We have
$180 = 4 days
$ 325 = 9 days

The changing rate is \frac{325-180}{9-4}= \frac{145}{5}=29

The table below shows the working out of the price for each day the car is rented. We work out that day 0 cost $63 which means this is the fixed cost

Hence, the equation of total cost is y=29x+63, where y is the total cost and x is the number of days

PART B:

Using the function notation means we will use f(x) instead of y, so the equation is

f(x)=29x+63

PART C:

To graph the function, we first need to set the scales on the x-axes and y-axes.

The scale on x-axes could go up in ones but must start from 0

The scale on y-axes, since it is much bigger values, we can go up in 50

We then plot on the graph for each pair of days and cost. The plots should give us a straight line graph

One example of the graph is shown below
