Youd first need the slope. (i think)
-2 - 0/ 4 - 2   so simplify this
you get -2/2  simplify that.
y = -1x is yuor equation because you dont have a y - intercept. ;)

trapecia [35]

Solve either equation for either variable. Since the second one has y on its own, the easiest choice is to solve that for y.

-5x + y = 13   ⇒   y = 5x + 13

Now substitute this into the other equation to eliminate y and rewrite it entirely in terms of x :

-3x + 3y = 3   ⇒   -3x + 3 (5x + 13) = 3

Simplify and solve for x :

-3x + 15x + 39 = 3

12x = -36

x = -3

Substitute this into either original equation to solve for y. Plugging x = -3 into the first equation would give

-3 (-3) + 3y = 3

9 + 3y = 3

3y = -6

y = -2

So the solution to the system of equations is (x, y) = (-3, -2).

Given a system of linear equations; explain your strategy for solving the system, show the math required to solve the problem, a
Alex73 [517]

Answer:

(2,3)

Step-by-step explanation:

The given system is

y=3x-3

y=2x-1

We equate both equations and solve for x.

3x - 3 = 2x - 1

Group like terms to get:

3x - 2x =  - 1 + 3

x = 2

We put x=2 into y=3x-3 to get:

y = 3 \times 2 - 3 = 6 - 3  = 3

As an ordered pair the solution is (2,3)

You randomly draw a marble from a bag of marbles that contains 777 blue marbles, 222 green marbles, and 111 red marble. What is
Kazeer [188]

Answer:

The probability of not drawing blue is 0.3

Step-by-step explanation:

The bag contain a total of:

Blue marbles + green marbles + red marbles

= 777 + 222 + 111

= 1110

We are to find the probability of not drawing a blue marble, if a blue marble is not drawn then the drawn marble is either green or red marbles

P(not draw blue) = p(draw green) + p(draw red)

P(not draw blue) = 222/1110 + 111/1110

P(not draw blue) = 333/1110

P(not draw blue) = 0.3
