Hannah Senesh was a special operations executive and one of the jewish recruits who were sent to Yugoslavia by the Great Britain during the second world war for assisting anti-Nazi forces and rescuing the Hungarian Jews. She was later arrested near the Hungarian border and executed by the Nazi firing squad for not revealing the details. She is a national heroine in Israel.  

<em><u>Hanna was born in Hungary and she was first exposed to  antisemitism during her high school years which propelled her to discover more about her Jewish roots.</u></em>
