Answer: Hello there!

The things that we know are:

Before, The ratio of the amount of money in Jeanette's saving account to the amount of money in her checking account, and now is 4:3.

We also know that before, she had $963 in her checking account.

because before the ratio was 1:6, this means that she also had a sixth of that amount in her saving account, or: (1/6)*$963 = $160.50 in her saving account.

This adds to a total of: $963 + $160.50 = $1123.50

now we know that the ratio is 4:3, if we call x to the amount that she has in her saving acount, and y to the amount that she has in her checking acount, then, this ratio says:

4y = 3x

we also know that x + y = total amount of money = $1123.50

so we can isolate y in this second equation: y = ($1123.50 - x) and replace it in the first equation:

4y = 3x

4*($1123.50 - x) = 3x

-4x + $4494 = 3x

7x = $4494

x = $4494/7 = $642

So she has 642 dollars in her saving acount, and as we know;

y + $642 = $1123.50

y = $1123.50 - $642 = $481.50

So she has 481.50 dollars in her checking account.

4 : 3.....when added = 7

4/7 * 936 = 3744/7 = 534.86 (savings account)
3/7 * 936 = 2808/7 = 410.14 (checking account)

William Arsenio is remodeling his home in order to save money he is upgrading the plumbing himself he needs 27 pieces of copper
Reptile [31]

Answer:

Yes.

2 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

Pieces of copper that Arsenio needs in total = 27 pieces

Length of each piece of copper tubing that he needs = 2/9 foot

Length of available tubing = 8 foot

Since, the length of each piece is 2/9 foot, the length of 27 pieces would be:

\frac{2}{9} \times 27 = 6

This means, Arsenio needs 6 feet in total for the copper tubing. Since he got 8 feet in total, he has sufficient amount of tubing available.

After making the 27 pieces, he will be left with 8 - 6 = 2 feet of tubing.
