Hi there!

To complete these table operations you have to plug in the value from the left part of the table into the equation on the left part of the table. I'll do the first one for you to help you visualize this.

v = 4, w = 2, and the equation is 3v + w.

We plug in the "v" value into the equation 3v + w to get 3 * 4 + w. Since we know what "w" is we can plug that in as well to get 3 * 4 + 2 and from that we can solve.

3v + w <--- Equation.
3 * 4 + w <--- Plug in the v value.
3 * 4 + 2 <--- Plug in the w value.
12 + 2 <--- 3 * 4 = 12
14 <--- Final answer.

Hope this helps! Contact me if you still don't understand. :)

You have to substitute the expression with known values.

Here is the first one: 3(4)+2
Answer is 14

Second: 3(6)+ 3
Equals 21

And the last one: 3(8)+ 4
Answer is 28

An easy question all wrong or unhelpful or no-work answers will be reported.
boyakko [2]
Substitution:
2x + (6(1/2x - 6)) = 19
2x + 3x - 36 = 19
5x - 36 = 19
+ 36
5x = 55
÷ 5
x = 11

y = (1/2 × 11) - 6
y = 5.5 - 6
y = -0.5

Elimination:
y = 1/2x - 6
- y
0 = 1/2x - 6 - y
+ 6
1/2x - y = 6

3x - 6y = 36
2x + 6y = 19
(add)
5x = 55
÷ 5
x = 11

y = (1/2 × 11) - 6
y = 5.5 - 6
y = -0.5

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need me to explain why I did some things :)

A right triangle is graphed on a coordinate plane. Find the length of the hypotenuse. Round your answer to the nearest tenth.
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

7.6

Step-by-step explanation:

From the graph, we know the lengths of two legs.

  a = 3

  b = 7

Knowing this, we can use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve for c, the hypotenuse. (remember,  a^2 + b^2 = c^2)

c = √a2 + √b2

= √(7)2 + √(3)2

= √49 + √9

= √58

= 7.6

Quadrilateral DUCKDUCKD, U, C, K is inscribed in circle OOO. What is the measure of \angle K∠Kangle, K?
N76 [4]

Answer:

Measure of ∠K=180-∠U

Or

Measure of ∠K=1/2m(arc DUC)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

DUCK quadrilateral inscribed in circle with center O

To Find:

Measure angle K

Solution:

Here the Quadrilateral in inscribed in a circle with center O named as DUCK

So angle K and  U are opposite to each other

We know that the angle of Quadrilateral inscribed in a circle are supplemenatry angles

Hence

∠U+∠K=180

Or The ∠K=1/2*m∠arc(DUC).

Hence depending on the given value for arc measure or angle of quadrilateral we calculate the angle K
