The Five Steps for Cost Benefit Analysis include:

1. Specify the possible options for action

2. List all possible outcomes

3. Determine probability of each outcome

4. Assign a value to each outcome

5. The sum of the values times probabilities for each option is the expected value of that option.

Production, implementation, and failure are all costs involved in making a decision.

Speedy results, saving energy, saving time and/or money, sense of achievement, raising of morale and/or confidence are all benefits involved in making a successful decision.

Which of the following are NOT environmental problems commonly associated with urban areas? A. brownfields B. compact developmen
Serjik [45]

Answer: COMPACT DEVELOPMENT.

Explanation: Compact development can be defined as a form of development that involves efficient use of land through higher-density planning, creative and intensive site, neighborhood and district design.

As can be deduced from the definition, it can be clearly observed that this is not a problem in its own as it seeks for efficient use of land in urban development.

It is based on an efficient public transport system and has an urban layout which – according to its advocates – encourages walking and cycling, low energy consumption and reduced pollution
