The equation of a circle is <em>(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2</em>, where <em>(h,k)</em> is the center and <em>r</em> is the radius. Our equation will be (x-3)^2+(y+2)^2=25 (remember to always square the radius).

The center is the (h, k) where h is the x and k is the y.  The equation for a circle is (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2. So your h has a value of 3 and your k has a value of -2, and your radius is 5: (x-3)^2 + (y+2)^2 = 25 is your equation.

Mrac [35]

Step-by-step explanation:

number \: of \: ways \: to \: select \: 3 \: out \: of \: 9 = {C}^{9}_3 = 84

ways \: to \: select \: 1red \: and \: 2yellow \: apples \: = {C}^{3}_1 \times {C}^{6}_2 = 3 \times 15 = 45

<u>Probability of selecting 1 red and 2 yellow apples</u> = 45 / 84 = 0.53
