Answer:

d. the power given in the statement of corporate purpose in the articles of incorporation

Explanation:

A corporation is a single entity company or a group of people that are authorized by the law to conduct specific business.

The State incorporation grants several 'express powers' to the corporation. They are :

  • the power to establish rules for managing the corporations.
  • the power to obtain property
  • the power to give money as loan
  • the power to have permanent existence
  • the power to sue others and can be sued in corporation's name
  • the power to make charitable donations
  • the power to borrow money and make any contracts

Thus the answer is --

d. the power given in the statement of corporate purpose in the articles of incorporation

What are reasons for why the federal government should have more power the state governments? State over federal?
densk [106]

Federal Government > State Government

The rationale for this is that we live in a global world and need collective responses to global challenges. Instead of there being a Utah response and a Virginia response to the need for more STEM graduates, there should be a US response. Economies of scale also come into play. It can cost less and be more efficient to have resources centralized.

State Government > Federal Government

America was founded after a revolution rejected a strong central monarchy and America needs to continue to honor that by allowing citizens in Utah to have different approaches than Virginia. When convenient, the states can choose to collectively band together on issues like defense but that should be the exception and not the rule.

Which of the following is not an example of an in-group?The Ku Klux Klan
klio [65]

Answer:

A high school

Explanation:

An in-group represents a group of people who psychologically believe that they are part of that group. These groups espouse some ideology that makes members feel psychologically attached to the point of forming a group. A high school is not an in-group because people who are attending high school are not there because they feel psychologically attached to something related to high school but rather because it is their duty to attend this place.
