Does radius squared equal the diameter

Mathematics

No, the radius is only half of the diameter. So unless the radius is two, that would not work.

No. Let's say that the radius is 8 cm. 8 cm squared would be 64 cm. But you calculate the diameter by doing the formula Radius x 2.
Hope this helped!

Find the area of the shaded region f(x)= x^3+x^2-6x and g(x)=6x. The bounds are [-4,0].
pshichka [43]
If you look at the graph below, the "ceiling" function, is f(x), on that interval of [-4,0], whilst the "floor" function, is g(x)

so, taking that into account, then \bf \begin{cases}&#10;f(x)=x^3+x^2-6x\\\\&#10;g(x)=6x&#10;\end{cases}\qquad \displaystyle \int\limits_{-4}^{0}\ &#10;\begin{array}{llll}&#10;[ceiling]&-&[floor]\\&#10;f(x)&&g(x)&#10;\end{array}&#10;\\\\\\&#10;thus&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\displaystyle \int\limits_{-4}^{0}\ [[x^3+x^2-6x]-[6x]]dx\implies &#10;\displaystyle \int\limits_{-4}^{0}\ x^3+x^2-12x&#10;\\\\\\&#10;\left. \cfrac{x^4}{4}+\cfrac{x^3}{3}-6x^2  \right]_{0}^{-4}

Rule: Divide by 2, then add 6. 56, 100, 34, 23 A. 23, 34, 56, 100 B. 23, 56, 34, 100 C. 100, 34, 56, 23 D. 100, 56, 34, 23
shepuryov [24]
For this problem, it is described that a set of number (x, y, z, ...) is calculated by a series of identical operation using the preceding number. In this problem if we let x as the first number, the second number y is, y = (x/2) + 6. Then the 3rd number z is equal to, z = (y/2) + 6, so on. Thus for this problem, the solution is <span>D: 100, 56, 34, 23 through trial and error.</span>
