Content comes first before editing of content. Editing is involved in all aspects of a written work as it starts from the idea generation, development, evaluation, etc. But without the content, what does the content editor edit? So content should come first. It is the content that will be subjected to thorough editing and proofreading and not the other way around. So, give me the content and leave the editing for me.
