Spanish, Catholic, and most western cultures survived for three centuries in Mexico which was part of the Spanish empire.

Further explanation

From the beginning of the 14th century to the end of the 18th century, Europe was entering the period of the Exploration Period. The Europeans began to sail to reach new areas which generally refers to the American continent or other regions that have never been known before. A period that marked the beginning of the era of colonialism.

From a series of European figures who emerged leading the shipping and conquest expedition, the name Hernan Cortes emerged as a successful Spaniard who conquered Mexico fully.

Cortes' services are of course great for the Spanish empire and can be considered a hero. While in Mexico, he became a controversial figure especially his bad relations with the natives. When Cortes set foot on Mexican soil, the area already had an advanced civilization built by the Aztecs.

Cortes's own behavior isn't much better. He seized the land and grabbed gold. Many of the natives were made slaves, killed, including because of the smallpox epidemic transmitted by Europeans. He also brought Catholicism as a new religion that was embraced by the native population to replace local beliefs.

Nearly 500 years ago, Pope Francis, as the supreme leader of the authority of the Catholic Church, once apologized in February 2016. This is inseparable from the insistence of several indigenous communities in Mexico who assess the Catholic Church and are involved and allied with invaders like Cortes. As a result, Spanish culture, language, religion, and other values are forced on the people of Mexico.

Who was in charge of the government of Iran during the
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

Ayatollah Khomeini was in charge of the government of Iran during the hostage crisis.

Explanation:

The Iran hostage crisis took place after the US embassy in Tehran was seized by a group of several hundred students and took all those in the diplomatic mission as hostages. This event took place nine months after the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran, when the power struggle was still going on between the forces participating in the revolution.

The attack on the embassy was carried out by students identifying with the Iranian Islamic left, however, it gained the support of all political forces except the liberals; led to the collapse of the government of Mehdi Bazargan, and in the long run gave political benefits mainly to Ruhollah Khomeini and his supporters.

On April 24, 1980, the US Army carried out a failed operation, the purpose of which was to recapture hostages. They were eventually released, after US-Iran negotiations, on January 20, 1981.

URGENT HELP
What emotional experience inspired the first philosophers?
Nastasia [14]
Early modern philosophy in Europe and Great Britain is awash with discussions of the emotions: they figure not only in philosophical psychology and related fields, but also in theories of epistemic method, metaphysics, ethics, political theory and practical reasoning in general. Moreover, interest in the emotions links philosophy with work in other, sometimes unexpected areas, such as medicine, art, literature, and practical guides on everything from child-rearing to the treatment of subordinates. Because of the breadth of the topic, this article can offer only an overview, but perhaps it will be enough to give some idea how philosophically rich and challenging the conception of the emotions was in this period. Most attention will be devoted to the familiar figures of early modern philosophy and how they conceived of the emotions as valuable, even indispensable aspects of embodied human life, which were largely constitutive of the self and identity that matter to us practically.

A word of caution is in order: there is a plethora of source material, and this entry is offered as a survey for organizing that material. Alas, much worthy material must be excluded here. This article and its supplements are designed for readers browsing for specific information, as well as those hardy souls who may wish to read it straight through. The main document offers a thematic overview of early modern discussions of the emotions. Separate links lead to documents devoted to the pre-history of the topic, as well as to some of the most important individual figures in early modern philosophy. Hope this helps!
