Answer:

From least to greatest \frac{3}{5},0.65, \frac{2}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Numbers \frac{3}{5},\frac{2}{3},0.65

To find : What is numbers from least to greatest ?

Solution :

Writing all numbers in one way i.e. in fraction.

0.65=\frac{65}{100}=\frac{13}{20}

Now to compare we have to make their denominator same.

So, Taking LCM of 5,3,20.

LCM(3,5,20)=60

Multiply and divide \frac{3}{5} by 12

\frac{3\times 12}{5\times 12}=\frac{36}{60}

Multiply and divide \frac{2}{3} by 20

\frac{2\times 20}{3\times 20}=\frac{40}{60}

Multiply and divide \frac{13}{20} by 3

\frac{13\times 3}{20\times 3}=\frac{39}{60}

Comparing numerators,

36 <39 <40

i.e. \frac{36}{60}

\frac{3}{5}

\frac{3}{5}

Therefore, From least to greatest \frac{3}{5},0.65, \frac{2}{3}

3/5 = 9/15 = 36/60

2/3 = 10/15 = 40/60

0.65 = 65/100 = 13/20 = 39/60

Therefor, the answer is 3/5, 0.65, 2/3.

What is the recursive rule for this geometric sequence? 27,  9,  3,  1,  ... Enter your answers in the boxes.
ANEK [815]

Answer:

a_n=a_{n-1}(\frac{1}{3})\\a_1=27

Step-by-step explanation:

A recursive formula is a formula in which each term is based on the previous term.

In a geometric sequence, each term is found by multiplying the previous term by a constant.

To get from 27 to 9, then from 9 to 3, etc., we would multiply by 1/3.  This makes the common ratio 1/3.

The recursive formula for a geometric sequence is

a_n=a_{n-1}(r), where a_n represents the general term,  a_{n-1}, represents the previous term, and r represents the common ratio.

Plugging in our values, we have

a_n=a_{n-1}(r)

We also have to indicate what the first term, a₁, is.  In this sequence, it is 21.  This gives us

a_n=a_{n-1}(\frac{1}{3})\\a_1=27

In AKLM, m = 1.2 cm, k = 5.1 cm and
Elodia [21]

Answer:

  4.2 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The law of cosines is applicable.

  l² = k² +m² -2km·cos(L)

  l² = 5.1² +1.2² -2·5.1·1.2·cos(35°) ≈ 17.4236

  l ≈ √17.4236

  l ≈ 4.2 . . . cm
