Answer: Option b, c and d

Explanation:

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is a life threatening condition in which the lungs gets affected and the ability of the lungs to breathe decreases.

In this case there is a  damage in the airways and the tiny air sacs in the lungs. There is an excess of mucus secretion that ultimately hinders the airways causing difficulty in breathing.

The alveoli is also affected as the bronchi oles and alveoli gets narrow which affects the breathing pattern. The inflammation of the air ways also causes the obstruction in the airflow which causes difficulty in breathing.

Hence, the option B, C and D are all the pathophysiology examination of patient suffering from COPD.

Children of immigrant parents who moved from a country in which nutrition was inadequate often grow up to be taller than their p
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

This indicates that the expression of genes depends partly on environment.

Explanation:

The case shown in the question is showing a situation where there was a genetic interaction with the environment, resulting that gene expression depends in part on the environment.

Gene and environmental interactions are revealed by penetrance and expressiveness. Penetrance is the percentage of individuals with a given gene that have a phenotype linked to this gene, such as children and parents who have the same height. In cases of penetrance, a genotype may not express the expected phenotype due to gene influences and environmental effects, as happened to the couples' children shown in the question.

Need Help Asap Please) Writing: Nutrition Myths and Abuse In Sports. In a 300 word essay, describe how you have personally been
Stolb23 [73]

Explanation:

Describe how you have personally been affected by nutrition myths.

One of the myths that I went through was the one where, the foods you like are the foods you have to give up in order to lose weight. I think this myth is really a true statement as I found myself eating less and less of foods that I didn't like and I was able to reduce 15 pounds in 2 months by eating what I don't like(salad) straight for 2 months as lunch and dinner and it personally has affected me as I lost 15 pounds.

What dietary practices have you put into place that may be harmful?

So, I used to eat poor unhealthy food that had too much of fat, salt, and sugar; and too little of fiber, and other nutrients. This is a harmful dietary practice I can get obese really fast and that is a major cause of heart disease.

What products have you purchased, and for what purpose?

Some products that I have bought are protein shakes as they are chock full of protein that is necessary and I don't have to eat meat which has protein but has too much fat and salt. I also have purchased lots of fruits of vegetables for my vitamin intake. I also stopped drinking anything but fruit juices/shakes and water, I did this to benefit my body.

What types of media have influenced your food buying decisions?

Sports media has really influenced me too buy stuff, especially when I see especially with soup as Donovan Mitchell an NBA basketball player that is a star. He was in a commercial with soup brand and it encouraged me to buy that type of soup (Cambells Chunky Soup).
