As Jupiter revolves around the sun, it travels at a rate of approximately miles per second. Convert this rate to kilometers per

second. At this rate, how many kilometers will Jupiter travel in seconds? In your computations, assume that mile is equal to kilometers. Do not round your answers.

Here, Jupiter's speed = 1 mps
Now, we know, 1 mps = 1.609 km/s

So, Speed in Km/h would be 1.609

At this rate, Jupiter can travel 1.609 Kilometer in a second.

Hope this helps!

Use the change of base formula to compute log1/4 6. Round your answer to the nearest thousandth.
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

-1.292

Step-by-step explanation:

The change of base formula is log_b(a)=\frac{log(a)}{log(b)}, therefore:

log_{\frac{1}{4}}(6)=\frac{log(6)}{log(\frac{1}{4})}\approx-1.292

Answer:

option 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Standard \ quadratic \ equation : ax^2 + bx +c

Larger the value of  '' a '' makes the parabola narrow.

A positive value of '' a '' which is close to 0 makes the parabola wide.

<em><u>To find the widest graph , find the smallest </u></em><em><u>a</u></em><em><u>. (or </u></em><em><u>a</u></em><em><u> closest to zero)</u></em>

option 1

     a_1 = \frac{1}{3}

option 2

     a_2 = - \frac{4}{5}

option 3

     a_3 = 0.3 = \frac{3}{10}

option 4

     a_4 = -4

Positive and negative value of ' a ' decides the direction the parabola opens.

But we have to find the widest parabola irrespective of the direction.

So we will find the smallest  ' a '

                                a_1 = 0.33\\a_2 = 0.80\\a_3 = 0.30\\a_4 = 4

a_3 \ is \ the \  smallest \  number \  or\ \\ the \  number \  closest \  to\  zero.\\\  so \  option \ 3 \ makes\  the\  widest \ parabola.
