To find the x-int., let y = 0 and solve for x:  13x = 6, so x = 6/13:  (6/13, 0)

To find the y-int., let x =0 and read off the y-int:  (0, -6)

The y-intercept is -6 or (0,-6) if you want them in coordinates. The x-intercept is at 6/13 or (6/13,0).

Whats the answer to 6+2h=8
natta225 [31]
Move the 6 to the other side which makes it to subtract meaning 2h=8-6
Then the ans will be 2h=2
Next move the 2 frm H to the other side which makes it to divide since near teh H it was in multiplication:
H=2/2
H=1 (answer)

A rectangular picture frame measures 81 cm by 44 cm. What is the perimeter or distance around the picture frame in meters? m
Alja [10]
The answer would be 2.5 meters. you add the two lengths together, then multiply by 2. Then divide by 100 because 100cm = 1m.

Given that ZBCD and ZBCA form a straight angle, if ZABC measures 55
a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

Angle BAC is 5 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

It's easiest if you just annotate you diagram as you find each angle. You can do this in lots of different ways, but this is how i got there.

So to find BAC, you need to find ABC and BCA. After you find these two, its just a matter of subtraction, which is simple.

We already know ABC = 55 degrees.

So now we have to find BCA:

1) They told us that BCD is 60 degrees and that its sitting on a straight line

2) From this we can find that BCA is 120 degrees, because a straight line is 180 degrees. 180 -60 = 120 degrees.

Now that we have both ABC and BCA, we can find BAC:

1) The angles of all triangles add up to 180 (idk why, its just how it is)

2) So, if we do 180 - BCA - ABC, we should get BAC

3) So, 180 - 55 - 120 = 5 degrees

Sorry if the explanation was really long, its a bit weird to explain it all in words. Hope it helped : )

Help Please!! I don't understand this!!
Anastaziya [24]
-4(x)+16= -116

You need to figure out what 'x' equals.
To find that you need to do the problem (more or less) backwards.

 -116 - 16

You have to subtract '16' from '- 116'

-116 - 16 = -132

-132 / -4

Then you divide '-132' by '-4'

-132 / -4 = 33

x= 33

The problem would look like this:

-4(33)+16= -116

~The parenthesis around the '33' just mean you multiply it~
