Can I get some help, it is due in 15 minutes and I need help. Thanks, any help appreciated
koban [17]

Well, I'm way past the 15 min mark, but here's how to do the question.

With this, you will need to use the distance formula, \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}, on XY, YZ, and ZX.

XY: \sqrt{(3-1)^2+(1-6)^2}

Firstly, solve inside the parentheses: \sqrt{(2)^2+(-5)^2}

Next, solve the exponents: \sqrt{4+25}

Next, solve the addition, and XY's distance will be √29

(The process is the same with the other 2 sides, so I'll go through them real quickly)

YZ:

\sqrt{(6-3)^2+(3-1)^2}\\ \sqrt{(3)^2+(2)^2}\\ \sqrt{9+4}\\ \sqrt{13}

ZX:

\sqrt{(1-6)^2+(6-3)^2}\\ \sqrt{(-5)^2+(3)^2}\\ \sqrt{25+9}\\ \sqrt{34}

Now that we got the 3 sides, we can add them up: \sqrt{29}+\sqrt{13} +\sqrt{34} =14.8

In short, your answer is 14.8, or the second option.

Which expression is equivalent to ( 4mn / m^-2n^6)^-2a. n^6 / 16m^8b. n^10 / 16m^6c. n^10 / 8m^8d. 4m^3 / n^8?
Eva8 [605]

\huge{(} \small{\frac{4mn}{ {m}^{ - 2} {n}^{6}  }}  \huge{) } \small{{}^{  {}^{ {}^{ {}^{ - 2} } } } }\\  \\  \\ \huge{(} \small{   \frac{4 \times m {}^{1}  \times n {}^{1} }{ {m}^{ - 2} \times  {n}^{6}  }}  \huge{)} \small{^{  {}^{ {}^{ {}^{ - 2} } } }} \\  \\  \\  \huge{(} \small{4 \times  {m}^{1 - ( - 2)}  \times  {n}^{1 - 6}} \huge{)} \small{ {}^{  {}^{ {}^{ {}^{ - 2} } } } } \\  \\  \\   \huge{(} \small{ 4 \times  {m}^{1 + 2}  \times  {n}^{ - 5} } \huge{)} \small{ { }^{ {}^{  {}^{  {}^{ - 2} } }  } } \\  \\  \\ \small{  {(4)}^{ - 2} \times  ({m}^{3} ) ^{ - 2} \times  {(n{}^{ - 5} )}^{ - 2}    } \\  \\  \\  \frac{1}{ {4}^{2} }  \times  {m}^{ - 6}  \times  {n}^{ 10}  \\  \\  \\  \frac{1}{16}  \times  \frac{1}{ {m}^{6} }  \times  {n}^{10}  \\  \\  \\  \frac{ {n}^{10} }{16{m}^{6} }

Find the number of tiles in the 57th figure. justify your answer using an algebraic expression
attashe74 [19]
3,365 tiles! the equation is always (x+1)^2 (squared) + 1 = Y. because y is the number of tiles and the x is whatever figure you’re on. but the figures start like #1 is a 2x2 instead of a 1x1 so 57th figure would not be 57x57 but 58x58. and then add 1 because there’s always that top left corner tile! if you appreciate my answer giving it brainliest is always appreciated!!
