juin [17]

It's an isosceles triangle, so the angles at the base are congruent:

m\anlge WXY=m\angle WZY

The triangle XYW is a rectangular triangle.

We know that the sum of the measures of angles in a triangle is 180°.

Therefore we have the equation:

m\angle YWZ+90^o+17^o=180^o\\\\m\angle YWZ+107^o=180^o\ \ \ |-107^o\\\\m\angle YWZ=73^o

Number 1. Based on the marks, what can you assume to be true in each figure?
lakkis [162]
These marks are used in geometry to symbolize congruence. If two sides or two angles are congruent, they are assigned with the same symbol.

A. Side AD is congruent to Side  CB
B. Side HE is congruent to side HG. Side EF is congruent to Side GF.
C. The base angles are congruent.
D. Side QF is congruent to Side MN, and Side QM is congruent to Side PN. The shape is a rectangle.

Now

  • P(G')=14-2=12

Probability of not selecting gray =12/14

Now

But pink is in 5

  • P(P)=5/12
