The Decisions at the Atlantic and Yalta conferences affected the structure and purpose of the United Nations because they showed that to keep peace in countries, these countries must be stable.  It also called for freedom of elections and the right of people to choose their own leaders in Soviet Union territory, although the Soviet Union greatly opposed this.

Basically, the conferences made sure there would not be another horrific world war

Namely, the geographical position and access to the Tyrrhenian Sea, further to the Mediterranean Sea, made it easy for Rome to have a connection with all the Mediterranean countries to North Africa and the Middle East. If it is known that the Phoenicians, famous sailors, merchants and shipbuilders, thanks to the access to the Mediterranean Sea, made it easy to navigate the Atlantic, it was easy to imagine that the benefits of access to the Mediterranean could have the significance for accessing a more distant commercial destination.
