The two stages of photosynthesis: Photosynthesis takes place in two stages: light-dependent reactions and the Calvin cycle (light-independent reactions). Light-dependent reactions, which take place in the thylakoid membrane, use light energy to make ATP and NADPH.

Answer:

The part of photosynthesis that does not require sunlight responses is called the carbon fixation phase.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis can be divided into two steps or phases, the light and the carbon fixation.

The phase called carbon fixation occurs in the chloroplast stroma and does not need sunlight to occur. This phase begins with the process of fixing carbon in an organic compound. At this stage, NADPH and ATP molecules produced in the light phase are used to produce sugars from the reduction of the fixed carbon. The reactions that occur here are called the Calvin Cycle, and in this process most of the fixed carbon is converted to sucrose or starch.

Aneli [31]
The correction option is B. The plants that belong to phyllum anthophyta are heterosporous, that is, they produce both male and female reproductive organs separately. Fruits grow when the male gamete fertilizes the female ovary. Their fruits are always fleshy with seeds inside them. A good example of a plant that belong to this phylum is pawpaw.
