Centripetal force is equal to (mv^2)/r
The way I use to answer these question is to set every variable to 1
m=1
v=1
r=1
so centripetal force =1
then change the variable we're looking at
and since we're find when it's half we could either change it to 1/2 or 2, but 2 is easier to use
m=1
v=2
r=1
((1)×(2)^2)/1=4
So the velocity in the 1st part is half the velocity in the 2nd part and the centripetal force is 4× less
The answer is the centripetal force is 1/4 as big the second time around
Answer:
I believe it is they will weigh the same
Explanation:
Center of gravity is the axis on which the mass rotates evenly if I remember correctly from AP Physics
c-undergoes the most change
Explanation:
Horizon B is the layer in a soil profile that has undergone the most change.
A section through a typical soil reveals many of the different layers.
The rock layers are divided into sections which are called horizons.
Horizon O is the organic matter
Horizon A is the top soil
Horizon B is the subsoil.
The subsoil of horizon B is the layer that undergoes the most change. It materials are constantly being leached away from this layer by chemical weathering. Some of the processes here accounts for it typical reddish brown color.
The rock layer here is rich in iron oxide and washed down minerals. It lacks significant amount of humus.
