1/2x imma change to .5x
.5x+1 = -x +8
Imma put all the numbers on the right side so I’m going to subtract one from each side
.5x=-x+7
Then imma add x to both sides to get that x on the left
1.5x=7
So now imma divid both sides by 1.5 then I’ll get a answer
X= 4.66
My math is wrong XD but my steps are right I hope this helps you in some way

A point in rectangular coordinates is given. Convert the point to polar coordinates. Round your answers to two decimal places.
postnew [5]

Answer:

(√74, 54.46°)

Step-by-step explanation:

The rectangular coordinate point is given as; (5, 7)

Now, converting rectangular coordinates to polar coordinates is done by;

(r, θ)

Where, r is the magnitude while θ is the angle

r = √(5² + 7²)

r = √74

tan θ = (7/5)

θ = tan^(-1) 1.4

θ = 54.46°

Thus,polar coordinate is; (√74, 54.46°)
