Answer: X = 27

Step-by-step explanation: If we observe very closely, we have two similar triangles in the diagram. The first one is ABC and the other triangle is EDC. Also take note that angle ACB in the first triangle is equal in measurement to angle ECD (45 degrees) in the other triangle, (Opposite angles).

Hence in triangle ECD, we have identified two angles so far which are angle 2x + 10 and angle 45. Same applies to triangle ABC, we already have two angles which are, 3x - 10 and 45.

However angle D in the second triangle is equal in measurement to angle B in the first triangle

(Alternate angles).

Hence we have a third angle in triangle ABC which is

Angle B = 2x + 10.

Therefore 3x - 10 + (2x + 10) + 45 = 180

(Sum of angles in a triangle)

3x - 10 + 2x + 10 + 45 = 180

By collecting like terms we now have

3x + 2x = 180 + 10 - 10 - 45

5x = 135

Divide both sides by 5,

x = 27

The other questions could all be one answer, like, “there are two people that wear size eight shoes” or “29 students have dogs in this school” or “Toyota made 90 cars last year”

But the third option, one person could have one dog, another could have four, another could have none. The answers will vary and there will be multiple

Answer:  George receive 44 % of his full dose .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The amount for full dose : 25  grams

The amount received by George = 11 grams

Now, the percent of his full dose received by George :-

\dfrac{\text{Dose taken by George}}{\text{Full dose}}\times100

=\dfrac{11}{25}\times100=44\%

Hence, George receive 44 % of his full dose .

A car travels 21 km in 16 minutes. What is its average speed in km/h?
bekas [8.4K]

Answer:

78.6km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

<em><u>Speed=distance÷time</u></em>

<u>distance</u>=21km

<u>time</u>=16 minutes<u>(convert into hour by dividing it</u> <u>with 60)</u>

=16÷60=0.267

Speed=21÷0.267=78.65km/h

speed =  \frac{distance }{time}

speed =  \frac{21}{0.267}  = 78.6km(h
