A proton gradient is an important part of both photosynthesis and cellular respiration.
Dennis_Churaev [7]

A proton gradient is an important part of both photosynthesis and cellular respiration because couple the favorable flow of H+ to transport specific metabolites into and out of organelles.

What is the proton gradient?

The gradient is sometimes called the proton-motive and can be thought of as a form of energy, force and force in a battery. Like other ions, protons are not able to cross directly through the phospholipid bilayer of the membrane, as the interior of the membrane is hydrophobic.

The proton gradient generated by this manipulation provided a driving force for ATP synthesis in the absence of light. This confirms the chemiosmotic theory, where a chemical potential across the membrane can provide energy for ATP synthesis.

The proton gradient produced by pumping protons during the electron transport chain is used to synthesize ATP.

How is the concept of homeostasis related to disease and aging provide examples?
Alinara [238K]

Answer;

-Because of Homeostatic imbalance as we age our body organs become less efficient, and our internal conditions become less and less stable. This event has a risk for illness and produce changes we associate with aging.

Explanation;

-Homeostasis is the body's ability to maintain a relatively stable internal environment even though the outside world is constantly changing. It involves both positive feedback Loops and the negative Feedback loops.

-Aging is a general example of disease as a result of homeostatic imbalance. As an organism ages, weakening of feedback loops gradually results in an unstable internal environment. This lack of homeostasis increases the risk for illness and is responsible for the physical changes associated with aging.

What will happen if a plants stomata is blocked
harkovskaia [24]

Does this help?

The glucose (sugar or plants food) is then converted back into carbon dioxide which is vital during photosynthesis. This therefore means that when stomata is blocked photosynthesis will stop because the CO₂ level will decline within the leaf, stopping the reactions that are light-independent.
