Systolic blood pressure is the amount of pressure that blood exerts __________
andrey2020 [161]

Answer:

while the heart beats

Explanation:

Blood pressure of the heart is the pressure by which heart pumps blood through the arteries. Since the blood flow through the heart and arteries is pulsatile, there are two heart blood pressures: systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Normal systolic pressure is about  120 mmHg.

Diastolic blood pressure is the pressure of the blood between heartbeats (when heart is not active, relaxed). Normal diastolic blood pressure is about  80 mmHg.

What is molecular polarity
krek1111 [17]

Answer:

The electron density of a polar bond accumulates towards one end of the bond, causing that end to carry a slight negative charge and the other end a slight positive charge. Likewise molecules in which there is an accumulation of electron density at one end of the molecule, giving that end a partial negative charge and the other a partial positive charge, are called polar molecules.

How does the sexual life cycle of the human species introduce genetic variations?
kari74 [83]

Answer:

In humans, genetic variations are caused because humans reproduce by a sexual life cycle which is termed as meiosis. In such a life cycle, the offspring receives half the chromosomes from the mother and half from the father. Crossing over and  random assortment of chromosomes are two phenomenons which occur during meiosis. Due to these two phenomenons, genetic variations are caused.

During crossing over, the exchange of DNA segments between the homologous chromosomes takes place which brings about the genetic variations.
