Step One

Find the area of the base

A = s * s

s = 755.5 feet

Area = 755.5^2

Area = 570780.25 square feet.

Step two

Multiply the volume by 3

V = 1/3 B * h

3*V = B * h

V = 85600000

85600000 * 3 = B * h

256800000 = B * h

Step Three

Divide by B

B = 570780.25

256800000 = 570780.25 * h

256800000 / 570780.25 = h

449.91 feet = h

What is the simplified form of the following expression?
geniusboy [140]

Answer:

242

Step-by-step explanation:

Simplify the following:

11 ((9^2 - 5^2)/2^2 + 8)

Hint: | Evaluate 2^2.

2^2 = 4:

11 ((9^2 - 5^2)/4 + 8)

Hint: | Evaluate 5^2.

5^2 = 25:

11 ((9^2 - 25)/4 + 8)

Hint: | Evaluate 9^2.

9^2 = 81:

11 ((81 - 25)/4 + 8)

Hint: | Subtract 25 from 81.

| 7 | 11

| 8 | 1

- | 2 | 5

| 5 | 6:

11 (56/4 + 8)

Hint: | Reduce 56/4 to lowest terms. Start by finding the GCD of 56 and 4.

The gcd of 56 and 4 is 4, so 56/4 = (4×14)/(4×1) = 4/4×14 = 14:

11 (14 + 8)

Hint: | Evaluate 14 + 8 using long addition.

| 1 | 4

+ | | 8

| 2 | 2:

11×22

Hint: | Multiply 11 and 22 together.

| 2 | 2

× | 1 | 1

| 2 | 2

2 | 2 | 0

A store sells almonds for $7 per pound, cashews for $10 per pound, and walnuts for $12 per pound. A customer buys 12 pounds of m
kifflom [539]
First we need to write the equations for the given scenario. Using the equations, we can form a system of matrix for the situation.

Let the customer buys, x pounds of almonds, y pounds of cashews and z pounds of walnuts. Since he buys 12 pounds of mixed nuts, we can write:

x+y+z=12

Total cost of these mixed nuts was $118. So we can write:

7x+10y+12z=118

Customer buys 2 more pounds of walnut than cashews. So, we can write:

z=y+2 \\  \\
-y+z=2

Using these equations, we can set up the system of matrix as shown below in the image.

The elevation E, in meters, above sea level at which the boiling point of a certain liquid is t degrees Celsius is given by the
otez555 [7]
Given function is

E(t) = 1100(80 - t) + 500(80 - t)^2

At t= 79.5 degree.

So we can place t= 79.5 in given equation

E(79.5) = 1100 (80 - 79.5) + 500* (80 - 79.5)^2

                    = 1100 * 0.5 + 500 * (0.5)^2
                     = 550 + 500 * 0.25
                    = 550 + 125 = 625

So elevation equal to 625 meter at t = 79.5 degree.
