The proportion is simply a matter stating the ratios as fractions, setting two fractions equal each other  and cross multiplying.

For example:
 2/x=3/9.
You need to cross multiply in order to get your answer. so 9(2)=x(3)
18=3x
6=x.

Thats how you solve a proportion.

Hope this helped :)

Karen is riding her bike at 4 miles per hour she wants to show this on a graph what should she draw
Radda [10]
4 mph is a rate, and is represented by a straight line thru the origin with slope 4/1.

Draw a set of coordinate axes and label them t (for time) and d(for distance).
Start with your pencil point at the origin.  Arbitrarily move this point 3 spaces to the right, and from there move it 4 spaces up.  You'll be at (3,4).

Draw a straight line from the origin (0,0) to the point (3,4).

Draw triangle ABC by first drawing segment BC six inches long. Then draw a 60° angle at vertex B and a 60° angle at vertex C. Ex
Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that segment BC is the base of the triangle, this drawing shows that triangle ABC is an equilateral triangle.

Since;

<B = <C = 60°

Then,

<A + <B + <C = 180^{o}

<A + 60° + 60° = 180^{o}

<A = 180^{o} - 120^{o}

    = 60°

Thus,

AB = BC = AC = 6 inches

The construction is attached to this answer.
