How does cytokinesis differ in animal and plant cells? What is it called in each? Use a picture to help your explanation.
Amiraneli [1.4K]

Answer:Plants - cell wall forms.

Animals - cleavage furrow forms

Explanation:Cytokinesis occurs in mitosis and meiosis for both plant and animal cells. The ultimate objective is to divide the parent cell into daughter cells.

In plants , this occurs when a cell wall forms in between the daughter cells.

In animals , this occurs when a cleavage furrow forms. This pinches the cell in half.

Which term describes the school of psychology that studies the reasons for behavior and how organisms adapt to environments?
vitfil [10]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

I was not quite sure what if my answer was correct, so using the process of elimination, I determined that it was.

Although Psychoanalysis seems like the correct answer since it looks close to the word Psychology, it is not the right because this term means a therapy to help mental illnesses, so that would not be the correct answer.

I continued to use the same process and I came to the conclusion that C is the correct answer.

Structuralism is when you try to understand the aspects of human cognition, behavior, culture, etc.

Hope this helps.

The type of cellular nuclear division that produces two cells with the same number and type of chromosomes as the original cell:
Helen [10]
This is Mitosis, which occurs with all nucleated somatic (body) cells, but not in germ (sex) cells.
Germ cells, aka gametes, on the other hand, undergo Meiosis, a process of nuclear cell division whereby 1 parent cell gives rise to 4 daughter cells. These daughter gametes, either sperm or egg cells, all have 1/2 the number of chromosomes as the original parent, termed "haploid." The genes of these gametes were also randomly assorted and crossed-over, allowing a shuffling of their chromosomes' genes.
