Meiosis is a type of cell division that reduces the number of chromosomes in the parent cell by half and produces four gamete cells. This process is required to produce egg and sperm cells for sexual reproduction. Errors in meiosis resulting in aneuploidy are the leading known cause of miscarriage and the most frequent genetic cause of developmental disabilities.

I hope this helps.

Which feature is found in eukaryotic cells but not in prokaryotic cells? A. plasma membrane B. nucleus C. cytoplasm D. genetic m
kiruha [24]

B is the correct answer

A prokaryote cell has no distinct nucleus with a membrane and neither does it have other specialized organelle.

In a eukaryotic cell, the genetic material is DNA in the form of chromosomes which are found within a distinct nucleus.

Examples of prokaryotes Streptomyces soil bacteria (from which streptomycin antibiotic is derived), Escherichia coli bacterium and Streptococcus bacteria (which causes strep sore throat).

Examples of Eukaryotes include protozoa such as amoeba, fungi, plants, animals and generally all  multicellular organisms.

Asi todas las células son muy pequeñas. ¿Qué limitaciones físicas y metabólicas determinan el tamaño celular? ¿ A qué problemas
N76 [4]

Answer:

Explanation:
