On average sea turtles lay about 110 eggs in a clutch however only a fraction of the baby turtles make it to the ocean then an e
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

TRue

Explanation:

The number of eggs per nest is called a clutch and it has been seen to vary among species. Turtles that live on water can lay more than one clutch in a nesting season. In most cases, the turtles do lay over 110 eggs per nest, two to eight nests a season.

When these eggs numbering over a hundred are laid, and only a small fraction of the offspring from those eggs make it to the ocean, with a few of these ending up with offspring of their own, then overpopulation has set in.
