Answer:

Design B bulbs will likely last longer than design A bulbs

Step-by-step explanation:

The B box  part spans higher numbers than the A box  and  the median of B bulbs is higher than median of the A bulbs.

9945/ 39= 255
If you were to try to divide 99 by thirty five it would not be a whole. You would be able to multiply 39 by 2 to get 78. 99 subtracted by 78 = 21 you would then carry down the 4. to equal 214 you would then figure out 39 multiplied by 5 is the highest number to figure a 195 you would have 19 left over. Carry down your 5 and would have 195. You would have 195 again and then multiply 39 by 5 and it would equal out to 195. Your answer would then be 255.

This is correct? I need help please :(

Answer:

well, we only no that

2l + 2w is 80

(lengths and widths on all 4 sides

and that w * l is A

so the function should be w times what's left for l, but also expressed by something with w

2l + 2w = 80 | -2w

2l = 80 -2w | devide by 2

l = 80 - w

now we can substitute l in

A = w * l

so that we only need w's

A(w) = w * (80-w)

for any w it will give us the area, makes only sense for 0<w<80

Answer:   " x = 12 " .

________________________________________________

Step-by-step explanation:

________________________________________________

<u>Note</u>: If 2 (two) triangles are "similar" ;  then their corresponding sides are "proportional".

________________________________________________

Since one of the sides [the "hypotenuse"] of one the triangles given ; shows the measurement containing an expression with a value of "x" — specifically;  " 6x + 28 " ;

    →  And since we want to solve for the value of "x" ;  we  use this "hypotenuse" of said particular triangle to set up a "proportion" with corresponding sides; so we can solve for "x" :

→  Set up proportions as a "ratio" ; or fraction:

       →  7:28::25:(6x + 28) ;  Solve for "x" ;

Let us write this in the form of a "fraction" :

      →  \frac{7}{28} = \frac{25}{(6x+28)} ;

________________________________________________

<u>Note</u>:

        →  Rewrite:  " \frac{7}{28} " ; by simplifying to:

                                    " \frac{1}{4} " ;

________________________________________________

         →  Since:  " \frac{7}{28} " ;

              =  " (7÷7) / (28÷7) " ;

              =  " (1 /4) " ;

              =   " \frac{1}{4} " .

________________________________________________

Now, rewrite the "proportion" ; as follows:

________________________________________________

        \frac{1}{4} = \frac{25}{(6x+28)}  ;

________________________________________________

Now:   "Cross multiply" ;  that is:

______________________________________

→   Given:   " \frac{a}{b} = \frac{c}{d} " ;

         and:  " b\neq0 " ;  " d\neq0 " ;

→  Then:   " a * d "  =  " b * c " .

________________________________________________

Likewise:   " 1(6x + 28)  =  (4) * (25) "   ;

______________________________________________

SImplify:    " 6x + 28 =  100 " ;  Solve for "x" ;

→ Subtract "28" from each side of the equation:

                  →   " 6x + 28 - 28 = 100 - 28 "  ;

    to get:   →   " 6x  =  72  "  ;

Now, divide each side of the equation by:  " 6 " ;

        to isolate "x" on one side of the equation; & to solve for "x" ; as follows:

   →   "  6x  =  72  "  ;

         →   6x / 6  =  72 / 6 ;

  to get:

         →   " x  = 12 "  ;

        →   which is the answer.

Between what two numbers is the exact product of 379 and 8
ANEK [815]
"Product" means to multiply, so you have to multiply 379 by 8 to get 3,032; it's between the numbers 3,031 and 3,033
