In Of Mice and Men, does John Steinbeck support or condemn euthanasia? (Provide sources).
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

Given the story line Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, it would appear the author does support the idea of euthanasia.

Explanation:

There are at least two cases of euthanasia in the novel of Of Mice and Men. The first is with Candy's dog who was sick and old and was shot but the character of his owner expresses some regret. He said he should have shot the dog himself and not allowed a stranger to kill him because he was old and in pain. The second example is when George kills Lennie at the end of the novel. This again is built up in the story as a mercy killing out of love because Lennie was being chased by a mob.

Why might a boycott be a good way for people to protest a law or other action that they do not like?
maksim [4K]
It is a direct way in which the voice and sentiment of the people will be heard by government or the institution that they have a grievance with. It is when they refuse to buy or abstain from any service from a person or institution be it government or the private sector. For example, if government enacts an unfair law like suddenly imposing taxes that people can’t pay. They would refuse to pay it as well as not support any program or policy by that administration. When that happens, it would cripple that government both economically and politically until they would withdraw or make changes on that law that would be acceptable to the people.

Elena-2011 [213]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although the question does not include options, we can say the following.

Many theorists believe that important aspects of the acquisition of grammar are biologically predetermined. To determine what knowledge is innate, it has been especially helpful to design cross-linguistic studies of what is hard and what is easy for children to acquire.

With studies like the above-mentioned, theorists consider that teachers could have a better idea of how to help children learn. Not all children are equal. They have a different set of skills and abilities that teachers have to consider in the classroom. In many cases, teaching grammar is not an easy thing to do for teachers because not all children have innate skills or aptitudes to learn fast. So the results of the studies allow educators to know what is best and how to teach it, not forcing it, but to share most appropriately.
