If the dominant allele is t and the recessive allele ("non-taster") is n, than tn and tt are the genotypes of a "taster". tn is heterozygous and tt is dominant homozygous. nn is the genotype of a "non-taster" and it is recessive homozygous.

Henry went on a field trip to a national park. He not only observed the aquatic life in the pond, but also the trees, vegetation
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

Henry observed ecological diversity.

Explanation:

Ecological diversity can be described as the variations which are present among different ecosystems and how these variations impact the life on Earth. The differences present in the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems are defined by the ecological diversity.

As Henry is observing the differences in the aquatic life as well as the terrestrial life, hence he is studying ecological diversity.

Ecological diversity is a type of biodiversity i.e diversity of all the living components of ecosystems.

What is cell surface to volume ratio and why is it important in cell functioning? Can it explain why cells are so small?
MrMuchimi
The main reason surface area to volume ratio is important to a cell is because the surface area to volume ratio determines the rate at which cells uptake nutrients, liquids or gases. For instance, I have two organisms, A and B. Organism A has a surface area to volume ratio of 6:1, whereas organism B has a surface area to volume ratio of 3:1. As organism A has a greater surface area to volume ratio, it means that organism A will be able to take up nutrients, liquids or gases via diffusion or osmosis at a greater rate than organism B, as it has more surface with which to exchange nutrients, liquids or gases.
