People can survive if without food for 8-21 days yet it would be better to just eat minimum amount of calories than starve one's self. It has been suggested that women should eat 1200 calories daily while men can eat 1500 calories as the minimum in a day. To maintain weight, women can have 1600-2400 calories daily while men 2000 to 3000 calories a day.

Answer:

Currently, the daily calorie intake recommended by health agencies is 2,000 for women and 2,500 for men.

Explanation:

Calorie is the name used to denote the amount of energy required to raise the water temperature, ie the amount of heat that raises 1 ° C per gram of water. Calories are present in foods and through them transmit energy to the body.

The amount of calories to be consumed daily, recommended by the World Health Organization, is 2,500 kcal, but each body has an amount necessary to function well. Currently, the daily calorie intake recommended by health agencies is 2,000 for women and 2,500 for men.

T or D: Studies show that low-fat chocolate milk is a good recovery snack because it has about a 4 to 1 ratio of carbohydrates t
umka21 [38]

Answer:

true

Explanation:

low-fat chocolate milk is a great option because after you exercise, your body starts replenishing its glycogen stores.  post-workout snacks are supposed to help with restoring glycogen and build back muscle. That means you need two basic components: carbohydrates and protein. This is why chocolate milk gained a reputation as a cheap alternative to expensive protein drinks for athletes, especially weightlifters. It has plenty of carbs, both in the milk (lactose is a sugar) and in the chocolate syrup or mix you add in, plus it has protein from the dairy.
