Answer:

Widest to narrowest

y=-\frac{1}{5}x^2 -  y=-\frac{1}{3}x^2 - y=-7x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :  Graph 1 - y=-7x^2

Graph 2- y=-\frac{1}{5}x^2

Graph 3 - y=-\frac{1}{3}x^2

To find : Order the group of quadratic functions from widest to narrowest graph.

Solution :

First we plot the given graph,

Refer the attached figure below.

In the graph, we see that all graph has same vertices (0,0) and

Graph 2 with green in color  y=-\frac{1}{5}x^2 is the most widest graph among all.

Then graph 3 with purple in color is the widest and then graph 1 with blue in color is the most narrowest graph.

So, The order of the graph from widest to narrowest is

Graph 2 - Graph 3 - Graph 1

y=-\frac{1}{5}x^2 -  y=-\frac{1}{3}x^2 - y=-7x^2

Please help me (It's for a really important grade)
Sholpan [36]

Answer:

4/5

Step-by-step explanation:

Sin = Opposite / Hypotenuse

Note that hypotenuse = longest side

We want to find sinФ

The opposite side length of angle "Ф" has a length of 8 and the longest side or hypotenuse has a length of 10

So sinФ would equal 8/10 which can be simplified to 4/5

Answer: 3x + 13

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x)=3x^2+x\\f(a)=3a^2+a\\f(4)=3*4^2+4=52\\\\f(x)-f(4)=3x^2+x-52=(x-4)(3x+13)\\\\\dfrac{f(x)-f(4)}{x-4} =\dfrac{3x^2+x-52}{x-4} \\\\if\ x \neq 4\ then \\\\\dfrac{f(x)-f(4)}{x-4} =\dfrac{(x-4)(3x+13)}{x-4} \\\\=3x+13\\

Point T is at (-3, 8). What are the coordinates of T' after R(y-axis) o R(x-axis)?
Whitepunk [10]

Given:

Point is T(-3,8).

To find:

The coordinates of T' after R(y-axis)\circ R(x-axis).

Solution:

We know that, R(y-axis)\circ R(x-axis) means the figure reflected across the x-axis then reflected across y-axis.

If a figure reflected across x-axis, then

(x,y)\to (x,-y)

T(-3,8)\to T_1(-3,-8)

If a figure reflected across y-axis, then

(x,y)\to (-x,y)

T_1(-3,-8)\to T'(-(-3),-8)

T_1(-3,-8)\to T'(3,-8)

Therefore, the required point is T'(3,-8).

8(b+1)=-3(2+b) simply
gogolik [260]

Step-by-step explanation:

8(b+1)=-3(2+b)

8b+8=-6-3b

8b +3b = -6-8

11b = -14

b = -14/11
