The equaton for cost is

first website is 1.25x
2nd is x+3

I'm assuming what number of songs wil make them have same cos
1.25x=x+3
minus x from both sides
0.25x=3
divide both sides by 0.25
x=12
answer is 12 songs must be purchased to spend the same on each website

An airplane is flying overhead at a constant elevation of 405 ft. A person is viewing the plane from a position 3040 ft from the
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

δL/δt = 634,38 ft/s

Step-by-step explanation:

A right triangle is shaped by ( y = distance between aircraft and ground which is constant and equal to 405 f ) a person who is at ground level 3040 f away from the tower distance x = 3040 f and the line between the aircraft and the person. Then we can use Pythagoras theorem and write

L ( distance between aircraft and person )

L²  =  x²  +  y²      or    L²  =  x²  + (405)²

Taken partial derivatives with respect to t we get:

2*L*δL/δt    =  2*x*δx/t + 0

Then      L*δL/δt = x*δx/dt

At the moment of the aircraft passing over the tower

x = 3040 ft       δx/δt = 640 ft/s   and L = √ ( 3040)² + (405)²

So   L  = √9241600  + 164025        L = √9405625   L ≈3066,9 ft

Then:

δL/δt = 3040*640/ 3066,9         units   [ ft * ft/s / ft ]   ft/s

δL/δt = 634,38 ft/s

8+11 X = 9X +4+ 2X

Solve x
Irina18 [472]
We want to get x by itself so we combine like terms first.
First subtract 4 from both sides
4+11x=9x+2x
Now add 9x and 2x together
4+11x=11x
Subtract 11 from both sides
4=0
The equation is false.

A farmer grows x acres of peas and y acres of tomatoes. He has 12 acres available to plant peas and tomatoes. Write an inequalit
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

Y < 2X

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the acres of land on which pea is to be cultivated is "X" acres and the acres of land on which tomato is to be cultivated is "Y"

It is given that number acres of tomatoes planted must not be more then twice the number of acres of peas planted

Thus, Y < 2X

X + Y = 12 acres

Y = 12-X acres

Thus,

12 - X \leq  X\\12\leq 2X\\6 \leq  X

Let us take X = 6 , Then Y = 13-6 = 6
