It'd be closer to 4 because if you round, 1.98 goes to 2 and .51 goes to .50. And it's pretty easy to know what 2 / .5 = 4.

Felix and Oscar own a pastry shop. Working alone Felix can decorate 8 dozen cookies in 90 minutes. Oscar, on
Bingel [31]

Working together, decorating 16 dozens of cookies will take 103 minutes.

Let's calculate theor individual work rate :

 • Rate = 1/ time

Felix's rate = 1/90

Oscar's rate = 1/120

Combined rate = 1/90 + 1/120 = (4 + 3) / 360 = 7/360

Time taken for both of the to decorate 8 dozens :

Reciprocal of their combined rate = 1 ÷ (7/360) = 51.428571 minutes

Hence, the time taken to decorate 16 dozens will be :

(16/8) × 51.428571 = 102.857 = 103 minutes (nearest while number).

Is there are 4 more girls than boys in ms. Raubs class of 28 students what is the ratio of girls to boys
Viefleur [7K]
The ratio of girls to boys would be 16:12 because if you divide 28 by 2 you get 14. subtract 2 to on one of them and add the two to the other. You get 12 and 16. There is a difference of 4 to them and when you add them together you get 28. :)

A proper unbiased coin was tossed 10 times for 3 trials, giving TTHHTHTTHH, TTTTTHHHHH, and THTHHHTTH (T = Tails; H = Heads). Wh
nadya68 [22]
Theoretical probability is what, theoretically, the probability should be, regardless of data. Because there are only two options, the probability for getting heads on each toss should be 50%. For the total thirty tosses, theoretically, the coin should land on heads fifteen times, or five per trial, which is determined solely on the number of options.

Experimental probability is what the probability was based on the given data. In the first trial, head was scored 5 times, or 5/10, or 50%. This was repeated in the second and third trials. So, based purely on the data, the probability of the coin landing on heads was also 50%.

I hope this helps!
