Answer:
Explanation: Dear Senator,
As a bonafide and law abiding citizen of this country, I am deeply concerned about the current legal driving age. I would implore you to sponsor a bill proposing the increase in the legal driving age of the people. There are numerous tangible reasons the legal driving age should be increased.
I have observed that teens get too excited and over speed while driving which has caused so many accidents on our roads and it has also leads to the death of some of our younger population and other road users are also at risks. In addition, the current legal age is also contributing to the traffic on our roads because we have more cars on the road and it is also having negative effect on our environment (pollution).
Furthermore, the current legal driving age should be reviewed because the younger they are the higher the risks and more dangerous it is for the country. Driving involves adequate attention and maturity which some of this teens lack as they are easily distracted.
Lastly, it should be noted that one of the duty of you and your colleague as a senator is to make laws that will ensure the lives and properties of the population, therefore the lives of these teens and properties of the general people can be greatly secured if the legal age can be increased. Despite the driving classes, they still don’t adhere strictly to the rules and regulations that guides them to drive safely. I urge you and your colleague to review the legal driving age. Thanks for your consideration.
Sincerely,
King Hero
