I'm assuming it is asking for domain and range and if it is a function or not

ok, so we know this is quadratic, and the form is a function

domain is all real numbers because no value of x will make a restriction like division by 0 or square roots of a negative

range is from the vertex to either positie or negative infinity
find the vertex
ok, so for y=ax^2+bx+c, the x value of the vertex is -b/2a
so
y=1x^2-4x-5
the x value of the vertex is -(-4)/(2*1)=4/2=2
the y value is found by subsituting 2 for x
y=2^2-4(2)-5
y=4-8-5
y=-9
and since the coefinet of the x^2 term is positive, it opens up and the vertex is a min
the range is from y=-9 to inifnity

domain=all real numbers
range is y≥-9
it is a function

What is the value of the product (3 – 2i)(3 + 2i)?
eimsori [14]

Answer:

13

Step-by-step explanation:

(3 - 2i)(3 + 2i)

Expand

(9 + 6i - 6i - 4i^2)

Add

(9 - 4i^2)

Convert i^2

i^2 = (\sqrt{-1})^2 = -1

(9 - 4(-1))

Add

(9 + 4)

= 13

Answer: The correct answer is C

Step-by-step explanation: since the 8 has a less than or equal too sign the bubble will be filled, and since the 6 has just a greater than sign the bubble is left empty. Also all the numbers are postive so the line would be on the postive side of the line graph.

HURRY ASAP PLZZZZ ANYONE???? There are 25 towns in a certain country, and every pair of them is connected by a train route. How
Julli [10]

Answer:

25 train routes

Step-by-step explanation:

The train routes go from 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, ,and so on, but there is also one that goes from 25-1. If you notice, there when we get to 4-5, there are 4 train routes which means that if there are 25 towns, then there are 24 train routes, but since 25 and 1 are connected then there are 25 routes. Hope this helps!

Solve for the measure of a
Lena [83]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The supplement of the exterior angle is 180 - 75 = 105

In a cyclic quadrilateral (a four sides figure where all the vertices touch the circumference of a circle), the opposite angles are supplementary. Therefore <a = 180 - 105 = 75

But I think you already knew that.
