As the sphere moves in the liquid, it experiences a viscous force upwards that tries to resist its downward motion caused by gravity(it's own weight). This viscous force gradually increases with depth, as the speed rises(because the weight causes a positive acceleration in it's direction). At a point, the viscous force upwards becomes exactly equal to the weight downwards. Then the sphere reaches equilibrium. It doesn't have any external force acting on it, so it can't have any acceleration. So, it's velocity becomes constant, and this velocity is known as the terminal velocity.
A= net force divided by mass
Answer:
Fish will appear at distance 14.9 cm from the surface of bowl
Explanation:
As we know that fish is floating inside the water in fish bowl while it is observed from outside in air
so we have
here we have
now we have
Answer:
The force will be doubled.
Explanation:
Just looking at the situation,
We are supposing the distance in between these charges is the same in both the cases which is r, so for the first normal case,
, q1, q2 are the two charges and r is the distance between them.
Now take the other case when the the Charges are doubled,
you can see clearly from the above equation that the new force which is has been doubled.
I hope it helps,
Thank you.
