10/1 * 1/3 = 30/3

1 1/3 = 4/3

4/3 can only go into 30/3, 7 times, with a remainder of 2/3.

Alright, lets get started.

A baker has 10 cups of sugar to make cookies. Each batch calls for 1 1/3 cups of sugar.

1\frac{1}{3} is a mixed number, we could write it in fraction form \frac{4}{3}.

\frac{4}{3} cups of sugar required for = 1 batch

Hence 1 cup of sugar required for = \frac{1}{\frac{4}{3}}

Hence 1 cup of sugar required for = \frac{3}{4}

So, 10 cups of sugar required for = \frac{3}{4} *10

So, 10 cups of sugar required for = \frac{30}{4}

\frac{30}{4} could be written as \frac{15}{2}

or we could write 7\frac{1}{2}

So, he could make 7\frac{1}{2} batches of cookies. : Answer

Hope it will help :)

Papessa [141]

Answer:

48 times

Step-by-step explanation:

From the above question, we know that:

2 times = 1 kg of fertilizer

A crop requires 24 kg of fertilizer

Hence:

1 kg of fertilizer = 2 times

24 kg of fertilizer = x

Cross Multiply

x = 24 kg × 2 times/1 kg

x = 48 times

She need to fill the flask 48 times to make the required amount of fertilizer for the crop

Which of the following is true for the number of trials for a binomial experiment. Explain your answer. The number of trials in
viktelen [127]

Answer:

The correct option is C.

Step-by-step explanation:

Consider the provided information.

Four conditions of a binomial experiment:

There should be fixed number of trials

Each trial is independent with respect to the others

The maximum possible outcomes are two

The probability of each outcome remains constant.

Now, observe the provided options:

Option A and B are not possible as they doesn't satisfy the conditions of binomial experiment which is there must be fixed number of trials.

Now observe the option C which state that there must be fixed number of trials, it satisfy the condition of a binomial experiment.

Therefore, the correct option is C.

sides 10 x 3 = 30, 6 x 3 = 18, 13 x 3 = 39

9) scale factor: 0.4

angles B & F, C & G, D & H, A & E

sides 9 x 0.4 = 3.6, 7.5 x 0.4 = 3, 10 x 0.4 = 4, 12 x 0.4 = 4.8
