The easiest way to solve for this is to first find out how many he has sold right now. The way to find it is to divide the total amount of money (301) by the amount of each cup. (301/3.50) That should be equal to 86 cups. Now, you want to find the rest he needs to sell. The easiest way is to divide the number you want (371) by the number of each cup (371/3.50) That should be equal to 106. Since you want to know how many more he needs to sell you now need to subtract them. (106-86) That is equal to your answer, 20.

Use the graph to write a linear function that relates y to x .
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

2y = x + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Looking at the graph, we can see from one point to the next (from right to left), the x-value rises by 2 and the y-value by 1;

From this we can work out the gradient between two points using the formula, i.e. the change/difference in y divided by the change/difference in x:

m = \frac{dy}{dx} = \frac{1}{2}

Joining the points gives a straight line, which means a constant gradient of ¹/₂

Use the line equation formula to get the function:

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

m = ¹/₂

x₁ = 0

y₁ = 1

y - 1 = ¹/₂.(x - 0)

y - 1 = ¹/₂.x

2y - 2 = x

2y = x + 2

PLS HELP ME HELP PLS THANK YOU
Volgvan

Answer:

1920 cubic centimeters

Step-by-step explanation:

If you recall the formula to find volume, it is V=Bh (Bh stands for area of the base times the height). First, multiply 14, 8, and 10 together, to get 1120, the volume of the first figure. To find the volume of the second figure, do the same: multiply 10, 10, and 8 together to get 800. Finally, add the two volumes together to get the volume of the figure, 1920 cubic centimeters.
