200/800 simplified would be 1/4 because 200 goes into the top number once and the bottom number four times so it's 1/4.
200÷200=1
800÷200=4

356/700 simplified would be 89/175 because you have to find the highest number that goes into both of them evenly and 4 is the highest number that goes into them evenly.
356÷4=89
700÷4=175

Answer:

z=\frac{at-67}{45+a}

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Write out equation

a(t + z) = 45z + 67

Step 2: Distribute <em>a</em>

at + az = 45z + 67

Step 3: Subtract 67 on both sides

at + az - 67 = 45z

Step 4: Subtract az on both sides

at - 67 = 45z + az

Step 5: Factor out <em>z</em>

at - 67 = z(45 + a)

Step 6: Divide both sides by 45 + <em>a</em>

z=\frac{at-67}{45+a}

Solve the equation. x2 18x 81 = 25<br> a. 14, 4<br> b. –4, –14<br> c. 14, –14<br> d. –4, 4
Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer:

The answer is the option B

-4,-14

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The formula to solve a quadratic equation of the form ax^{2} +bx+c=0 is equal to

x=\frac{-b(+/-)\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}} {2a}

in this problem we have

x^{2}+18x+81=25

x^{2}+18x+56=0

so

a=1\\b=18\\c=56

substitute in the formula

x=\frac{-18(+/-)\sqrt{18^{2}-4(1)(56)}} {2(1)}

x=\frac{-18(+/-)\sqrt{100}} {2}

x=\frac{-18(+/-)10} {2}

x1=\frac{-18+10} {2}=-4

x2=\frac{-18-10} {2}=-14
