Set the equation equal to zero.

9x+6=0
Subtract 6 from both sides
9x = -6
Divide both sides by 9
x=-6/9
or -2/3

2(5x-3)=0
Distribute
10x-6=0
add 6 to both sides
10x=6
Divide by 10 on both sides
x=6/10 or 4/5

5y+14=0
-14 from both sides
5y=-14
divide both sides by 5
y=-14/5
or -2 and 4/5

Fofino [41]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

(p^{\frac{1}{2}})^3=p^{\frac{1*3}{2}}=p^\frac{3}{2}\\\\\sqrt{p^6}=p^\frac{6}{2}=p^\frac{1}{3}\\\\(p^{\frac{1}{2}})^3\sqrt{p^6}=p^\frac{3}{2}p^\frac{1}{3}=p^{\frac{3}{2}+\frac{1}{3}}=p^\frac{11}{6}

50 POINTS!!!!! HELPFor the exponential function f(x)=a^x,a>0,a≠1 what is the domain? what is the range?
White raven [17]
I have included a graph to help you see what the domain and range would be
There are no minus y values.
0<y< infinity y is included in the reals.
The domain is
- infinity < x < infinity.

I don't want to say that either x or y can equal - or + infinity. Some teachers allow it. You have to ask your instructor what they will accept.

The blue line is y = 4^x
The red line is y = 2^x

Evaluate and match each expression on the left to its value on the right, when x = 9 and y = 6.
kolezko [41]
Answers: 12-x=3 | x+3y=27 | 4y-10=14 | 1/3xy=18

Explanation: x=9 and y=6
12-(9)=3 | (9)+3(6)=27 | 4(6)-10=14 | 1/3(9)(6)=18

Rom4ik [11]

Answer:

1/12

Step-by-step explanation:

The probability that Helen will roll a 4 is 1/6 the probability that she will get tails is 1/2. Multiply those two events together to find the probability of P(A and B)
