Answer:

6 plus 4 = 10

6 plus 3 = 9

6 plus 4 plus 1 = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Since it says use them exactly once does that mean once in each number answer or once in all 3

Please help and explain part A B C

a).  The y-intercept is the point where the graph touches the y-axis.
       It's the value of ' y ' when x=0.
       The y-intercept of this graph is  4,500 ft.
       It's the jumper's altitude at time = zero minutes.

b).  The slope of the line is

                               (change in ' y ') / (change in ' x ')

both over the same part of the graph.

Let's use the whole graph ... the whole slanted line.

' y ' changes from  4,500 ft  to  zero.  The change is  - 4,500 feet
' x ' changes from  zero to  3 minutes.  The change is  3 minutes

Slope  =  (- 4,500 ft) / (3 min)  =  - 1,500 ft/minute

According to the slope, the diver is descending (dropping, going down).

The rate of drop is    1,500 ft per minute.  Same as  25 ft per second.

c).  The x-intercept is the point where the graph touches the x-axis.
       It's the value of ' x ' that makes ' y ' be zero.
       On this graph, the x-intercept is  3 minutes.
       It's the time when the diver reached the ground ... her altitude became zero.

A carpenter is assigned a job of installing a spa into a pre-existing deck. The dimensions of the deck are (6x + 10) wide by (3x
Natali5045456 [20]
Simply, you subtract the spa area from the deck one.

A = (6x+10)(3x+4)-[(5x+2)(2x+1)]

A = 18x^2+24x+30x+40-(10x^2+5x+4x+2)

A = 18x^2+24x+30x+40-10x^2-5x-4x-2

A = 8x^2 + 45x + 38

Find X-3y if x=3 and y=-2
IgorLugansk [536]

The answer is Negative 6 because replace the x with 3 and the y with 2. Therefore your problem would be 3-3(2) and multiplication comes first so you would multiply then subtract
