68%(plan to go to college) + 14%(plan to start working) = 82%
100% - 82% = 18% (<span>students don't know what they're going to do )
</span>
450 x 0.18 = 81

answer: 81 students <span>are not sure what they are going to do after graduating from high school</span>

81 Students aren't sure what they are going to be doing.

First, find the number of students for each category by multiplying the percentage:

450 x .68 = 306 (306 students want to go to college)
450 x .14 = 63 (63 students are going to begin working)

Add 306 + 63 students to get 369 total students who know what they want to do.
Subtract this number from 450 students total (450-369) to get 81 students who are unsure of what they will do after graduating.

Mrs. Williams teaches preschool. At snack time on Monday, Mrs. Williams used 2/3 of a bottle of juice to give 12 students each a
MakcuM [25]

Answer: 1 1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the amount of students that a bottle of juice can cater for be x. Therefore,

2/3 × x = 12

2x/3= 12

2x = 12 × 3

2x = 36

x = 36/2

x = 18

Since Mrs. Williams gave juice to 21 students, the number of bottles of juice that was used will be:

= 21/18

= 1 3/18

= 1 1/6

Wich of the following is a factor of both (2y)3 + (y)2 and (4y)4 + (2y)3
dem82 [27]

Answer:

y^2

Step-by-step explanation:

2y^3 + y^2 and 4y^4 + 2y^3

2y^3 + y^2......factor out y^2

y^2(2y + 1)

4y^4 + 2y^3...factor out y^2

y^2(4y^2 + 2y)

I would normally factor out 2y^3 out of this one...but u cant do it in the other one...the only common factor is gonna be y^2

the common factor is y^2 <===
