1) the square root of 64=8

2) The square root of a^4=a^2

3) b^5=b√b

so the first amount simplifies to 8a²b²√b

4) ∛64=4, as 4×4×4=64

5) ∛a^5=a√a²

6)∛b^4=b√b

so...the second amount is equal to 4ab∛a²b

The last one should be correct

Hope this helped :)

t) A car rental agency rents 210 cars per day at a rate of 27 dollars per day. For each 1 dollar increase in the daily rate, 5 f
Vlad [161]

Answer:

$34.5

$5,951.5

Step-by-step explanation:

P(x)=27+x

Quantity (x)=210-5x

Income(y)=price×quantity

=(27+x)(210-5x)

=5670-135x+210-5x^2

y= -5x^2+75x+5670

dy/dx= -10x+75=0

-10x=-75

x=-75/-10

=7.5

x=7.5

Maximum income=27+x

=27+7.5

=$34.5

Total income=(27+x)(210-5x)

=(27+7.5){210-5(7.5)}

=(34.5)(210-37.5)

=(34.5)(172.5)

=$5,951.25

Which equation represents the function represented by the table? 17 POINTS!!!
dybincka [34]

Answer:

 f(x) = -x -1

Step-by-step explanation:

You can make the correct choice by seeing which equation works for the first line of the table.

 f(-1) = -(-1) -1 = 0 . . . . . the first equation works

 f(-1) = -(-1) +1 = 2 . . . not zero

 f(-1) = -1 -1 = -2 . . . not zero

 f(-1) = 1 -(-1) = 2 . . . not zero (same as second equation)

By the fourth day of a particular week, 3 items have already sold. What is the probability that there will be less than a total
Nana76 [90]

The probability that less than five items will be sold from the items during the week will be 0.67.

How to calculate probability

From the complete question, the number of items that were sold in a week was given in a distribution table.

From the table, the probability that there will be less than a total of 5 items sold during that week will be:

= P(3 or 4 items sold) / P(3 or more items sold)

= (0.15 + 0.05) / (0.15 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05)

= 0.20/0.30

= 0.67

In conclusion, the probability is 0.67.
